Chapter Eight - I Love France !!!

Well, I know it's been a long time since I blogged, but everything has been packed and only now can I get the laptop to a hot spot in the pub and blog. (Didn't have to prove my age to get in either!)

Well, we are all here. Daddy, Brian and Tom moved all the stuff successfully down here to the appartment, while Mummy and I waited until they put all my things together and then flew down. That was fun except the bit where we went down to earth.... didn't like that at all. I decided to protest loudly to the pilot so that he could speed things up a bit. Seemed to work.
Daddy was at the airport to meet us which was nice (at Nice). The weather was a little hotter than Brussels, which reminded me of when I was born as it was very hot then.

The appartment is great. Nice big garden with palm trees and a lemon tree (great for those drinks with tonic). I have a bigger room now and something called "a fan" which helps keep things cool in my room. Mummy and Daddy don't have one though and they are NOT getting mine! I can also hear them at night talking about something called "Mos keet toes". Because of this, I have learnt another new swear word which daddy won't let me type, but what he says is anatomically impossible.

So far, I havent seen any of that stuff called "rain" here. I think I have seen a life times worth of "rain' since I was born so I am not missing it.

Daddy has been upset because he has been without the "remote' for the SACD player. This has caused him a lot of stress. Hopefully the box it is in will arrive tomorrow along with the "Pee-yanos". Mummy and Mami go shopping and organise things in the mornings leaving me and daddy to play cricket in the garden and read Star Wars books and drink beer. This is very cool! But Mummy isnt to know this ...

Once we have internet at Home, Mummy and Daddy will let you all know of course.

Take care everyone. Will blog again soon and will add some pictures also.

Benjamin

PS. I am still cute! Pictures soon.

"This is where the fun begins"

A quote from Han Solo of course, however, this is the time where everything starts happening for real.

All out Worldly goods are either in storage in Brussels and Antibes. I leave on Friday to transport about 80% of our stuff down to Antibes and place them into OUR appartment. Its ours now ... all ours. No one elses .... not even a banks!

Once there, everything gets set up for the arrival of Louise and Benjamin who fly down on the following Tuesday.

While awaiting their arrival, all the stuff from the other storage will be picked up and also deposited at the appartment.

And now for the Thank you list.

Richard, Sally, Daniel and Jacob for letting us stay at their house during the past week. We started our life in Brussels here and now we finish it here.

Brian and Tom for helping me move down to Antibes

Arne, Bai and Giovanni for helping getting the stuff out of the appartment into Storage

Roman. For being a great friend

The Bizon. Where it all began

And Thank you for reading

Over and Out ..... see you in Antibes (once I dig out the PC, get a telephone line in etc etc etc)

Andrew, Louise and (of course) Benjamin
