Chapter Eight - I Love France !!!

Well, I know it's been a long time since I blogged, but everything has been packed and only now can I get the laptop to a hot spot in the pub and blog. (Didn't have to prove my age to get in either!)

Well, we are all here. Daddy, Brian and Tom moved all the stuff successfully down here to the appartment, while Mummy and I waited until they put all my things together and then flew down. That was fun except the bit where we went down to earth.... didn't like that at all. I decided to protest loudly to the pilot so that he could speed things up a bit. Seemed to work.
Daddy was at the airport to meet us which was nice (at Nice). The weather was a little hotter than Brussels, which reminded me of when I was born as it was very hot then.

The appartment is great. Nice big garden with palm trees and a lemon tree (great for those drinks with tonic). I have a bigger room now and something called "a fan" which helps keep things cool in my room. Mummy and Daddy don't have one though and they are NOT getting mine! I can also hear them at night talking about something called "Mos keet toes". Because of this, I have learnt another new swear word which daddy won't let me type, but what he says is anatomically impossible.

So far, I havent seen any of that stuff called "rain" here. I think I have seen a life times worth of "rain' since I was born so I am not missing it.

Daddy has been upset because he has been without the "remote' for the SACD player. This has caused him a lot of stress. Hopefully the box it is in will arrive tomorrow along with the "Pee-yanos". Mummy and Mami go shopping and organise things in the mornings leaving me and daddy to play cricket in the garden and read Star Wars books and drink beer. This is very cool! But Mummy isnt to know this ...

Once we have internet at Home, Mummy and Daddy will let you all know of course.

Take care everyone. Will blog again soon and will add some pictures also.

Benjamin

PS. I am still cute! Pictures soon.

Dear Benjamin,
So glad you have arrived safely with your mummy and daddy. If you want some rain to remind you we have plenty here in the UK. Maybe you could pop over and take it back with you.
Pleased to hear you are learning the important things in life - cricket, Star Wars, music and beer, women to follow you everywhere mind you , you have that now so keep up the good work.
Hope to see the photo's soon. Love to all

Hi Benjamin,
You probably don't know me, but I've just been catching up with all your adventures (as I had finished Harry Potter's last adventure and was looking for a new adventure to read).
I am glad to read that you are doing so well and that you are now living in a beautiful place like France. I can't get over the fact that your daddy wanted to move there, but then again, I still can't get over the fact that he's drinking beer either!
Well, I hope you have many more adventures. Oh, and here's a really valuable tip: if you get any noisy toys, that suddenly stop making noise, mummy and daddy have taken out something that's called a 'battery'. If you find one, just stick it in a hole in your toy where it fits and you can probably make noise again.
Other tips will follow!
Be happy!
